Awards and Achievements
- He has been recognized with the Title of “National Researcher with Level II” (Investigador Nacional Nivel II) from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2012, due to his achievements performing original research work with high degree of quality, recognized internationally, significant and done in a consisting way, and also for supervising graduate students with their thesis’ work. This Title is given by the National System of Researchers from CONACYT of Mexico and has 3 levels. - Recognized by New York Academy of Sciences for his research work and publications as an active member since October of 1998 - Recognized by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society as a “Senior Member” in 2004 for his achievements in research and education. - He was awarded the Lázaro Cárdenas Medal to the Best Student at the Graduate Level in National Polytechnic Institute in 1984. |
