One of the most important goals of the association will be the organization of annual events, such as Conferences and Workshops, in Mexico or in the other member countries, in the areas of fuzzy systems and soft computing.
These events will promote the participation of researchers, professors and students from the region and also from other countries, to stimulate the exchange of ideas and future collaborations.
The association will have a least one council meeting per year in one of these events. In these council meetings, the members will discuss and make presentation of new projects and policies for the association
